Disabled Spy Satellite Crashing Into Earth!

Posted by Perrinator on January 27, 2008 under He He Ha Ha

Wow! According to the news, a large U.S. satellite has lost power and is expected to crash into our Mother Earth somewhere in February or March. Now, this is really interesting because:

#1 – It has not been revealed what kind of a spy satellite it is.
Well, could it be spy data on the presidential candidates – Obama, Clinton, Edwards, McCain – collecting dirty information on their lives and let the whole world know about it at the ‘right’ time…

Or, it could be spy data on selected individuals (maybe me? *Gasps!!*), tracking their every move, hoping that the ‘chosen’ ones will pass some sort of tests and be recruited in secret government agencies…

<* Perrinator pushes all her dirty secrets into a steel box with a 5-tonne steel lock and hides her darkest secrets into a huge steel cupboard with a 20-tonne steel lock *>

#2 – No one can predict the exact date on when it will crash into Earth.
The best they can do so far is to give a rough estimate on which month it will crash-land here, not the date. Hmmm…imagine it crashes on Valentine’s Day! Wow! Then maybe we’ll have to rename that day as uhm…Space Valentine’s Day? Sat-Valentine’s Day? Spy-Valentine’s Day? And I think all of the boyfriends would spy on their girlfriends, and when the guys are caught, they’d probably reply “Hey, it’s Spy-Valentine’s Day, baby!”

<* Perrinator builds a fortress and hides all her girl friends from their boyfriends on Spy-Valentine’s Day *>

#3 – There is still no word on where it will fall.
Even more interesting. Imagine that it crash into our country! Or, dare I say, crash into my neighbouring house! Muahahahahahaha! Then I’ll possess all of the valuable data (if it doesn’t burst into a million pieces when it first hit the ozone layer) and build my own spy station, spying on the whereabouts of Prince William, James Marsden, Keanu Reeves, The Rock, Channing Tatum, Wentworth Miller, Chris Evans and Prince William, and Prince William and Prince William and Prince William!!!

<* Perrinator slaps herself before she types another ‘Prince William’. Wait a minute, she just did! *>

I guess this is what will happen after I got hold of the spy satellite…

A Belated Post!

Posted by Perrinator on January 25, 2008 under Blah Blahs

I have recently received all of the Christmas dinner photos earlier this week (not gonna upload all by the way!). So I’m just gonna do a quick recap on our not-so-fantastic dinner last year at Michelangelo’s , Pavilion Mall. Let me tell you, we all gotta wait for more than one hour for the food to arrive (I think it was close to two hours!). If you are planning to have your lunch/dinner at Michelangelo’s, make sure you have eaten something light or you’ll starve waiting for them to serve your food!

OMG! I looked like a grandma and they all look beautiful! Time to change my look!

We thought it was like Italiannes where the food comes in huge portion. But…it was really disappointing that the food we ordered came in small portion, enough for one person per dish (with a pricey tag!). I guess I blew my money more on the classy and romantic environment rather than on the food! LOL! But it doesn’t really matter because they were there for me and…it was also a celebration of our eleventh year of friendship! Love you gals! Muuuuuuuuuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh!!!

A blurry picture coz’ of a shaky hand! Arrghh!

Shocking Celebrity Deaths

Posted by Perrinator on January 23, 2008 under Blah Blahs

When I woke up this morning and routinely checked my emails, I was totally shocked at the headline featured in Yahoo’s portal with the title “Heath Ledger dies”. I blinked a few times before clicking the link, which displayed the report on his untimely death.

Heath Ledger

He was found face-down at his apartment, completely naked at the foot of his bed with the little white stuff that may have cost his life – sleeping pills. Now the question is, (or rather, the questions are) did he commit suicide? If so, WHY? Or was it simply an accidental overdose?

This news transported me back to the past where I learnt of other devastating celebrity deaths across the United States and England. Aaliyah, the famous R&B singer with hits like “Back & Forth”, “One In A Million” and “We Need A Resolution” died in a horrifying plane crash in 2001 after she and her entourage had completed the shooting for her final video “Rock The Boat”. There wasn’t any survivor.

She was only 22 years old when Mr. Grim Reaper decided it was her time to die. But why at such young age? And in such a horrible accident? She was so talented and beautiful! Sigh. The other tragic death that grabbed the headlines in 2002 was Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, the artiste from the rap group TLC. She died instantly in a head-on collision on a two-lane country road in Honduras at the age of 30.

And who can forget the famed (but troubled) playmate Anna Nicole Smith? Her death last year was certainly a shock to many. She died of accidental drug overdose.

Perhaps the most devastating celebrity death of all time is Princess Diana. Yes, she is and always will be the celebrity to all, not just a royal princess! Though the medias have reported her death as a disastrous car accident, but still, I couldn’t help but wonder, is it really an accident? Or it’s a conspiracy to send her to heaven by uhm…by some government agencies?

Sometimes, I often wonder, when will be my time to go? And what would be the cause of my death? Well, call me psychotic, call me lunatic, whatever. But I’m still gonna predict my own cause of death. Here’s the list:

#5 Young Old Age
I don’t think I can live pass 70 years old. You know…with so many factors like bad food intake, bad exercise, environmental pollution, yadda yadda yadda.

#4 Car Accident
My eyes can barely stay open after work. Most of the time, I would be ‘sleep driving’. I gotta thank the Big Guy up there countless times for keeping me safe while I sleep drive. I think I cheated death several times when I didn’t even realized I’ve taken a few seconds of ‘sleep’ and the car is still cruising at the speed of 60km/hr – 80km/hr. Perhaps, I have a guardian angel who sits beside me and somehow jolts me awake at the right time.

#3 DVT
No, it’s not AIDS or HIV. It’s DVT, Deep Vein Thrombosis, the formation of blood clot that usually affects the leg. Recently, I’ve been extremely busy to the point where I gotta work more than 10 hours a day, seven days a week, sitting in front of the notebook and working furiously on the keyboard without getting enough exercise or movements to my legs. I got a few clots now and then at my thighs and calves, and am darn lucky that it didn’t shot right up my brain and send me to heaven.

#2 Lung Cancer
Uhm…uhm…well…smoke causes lung cancer…I mean…erm…pollution…air pollution. Yeah, totally. Air pollution. It’s everywhere.

<* Perrinator looks around warily for any sight of a pregnant woman who may lung towards her with the fists of a panda *>

#1 Heart Attack
Given my profession as an IT slave, I think I’ll suffer from extreme stress in years to come and may just drop dead one day of heart attack. Peeps, shower me with yellow roses at my funeral, okay? LOL!

Another Furry Day

Posted by Perrinator on January 21, 2008 under Furry Tales

Despite the limited time I have and the blardee corn sending multiple distress signals to my foot and jolting my nerves, I kept on thinking, “Dammit! You gotta do this! You gotta go! Do it! For him! Go! Go! Go!”

And so, I went to the dog event at Central Park, 1Utama last Sunday. This time, I managed to drag along a ‘servant’ as my backup in case I couldn’t stand the pain and need the ‘servant’ to control my boy. My prediction proved to be correct when I felt a sharp pain piercing through my foot within the first 10 minutes of handling him with the leash.

He just got excited at the sight of other furry friends, and gleefully pulled me along in his quest to make new friends. However, the event wasn’t really crowded as compared to the previous one that we’d attended. I guess it must be the Chinese New Year shopping that kept the owners busy.

I think we were there for about one hour. Couldn’t stand the pain any longer. When we were heading towards our car, I saw this dude handing over some brochures and I took one. Lucky me. It’s a pamphlet for doggie treats and cakes! Yay! Now, from this year onwards, I would definitely be able to celebrate his birthday with a cake! Check out their site at http://pawzbakery.blogspot.com/

Oh, I’m not really in the mood for lots of photogenic moments, so, here’s one that I can upload.

Shift + F3

Posted by Perrinator on January 19, 2008 under Tech Bytes

Good gracious! I didn’t realize that I have not been posting for three days now! I gotta admit that I’ve been super duber busy recently and I haven’t been sleeping well either. My mortal enemy, Stress, has almost taken over me this week! Thank goodness I managed to pull through another tough week at work!

‘Nuff of my rantings! I’ll give you a quick tip on something. I’m pretty sure most of you use Microsoft Word for work, no? Let’s say, you want a quick shortcut to capitalize all of the letters in a word/sentence, or capitalize the first letter of a word/sentence. Take a look at this sentence below.

william is extremely hot and sexy.

Now, I wanted to capitalize the first letter of the sentence in less than two seconds. Select the word ‘william’ with your mouse, and hit the Shift key together with the F3 key at the same time. It will automatically capitalize the first letter of the first word in the sentence, and it looks like this:

William is extremely hot and sexy.

How about capitalizing ALL of the words in that sentence without having to retype it all over again? Simple. Do the same thing (select the entire sentence and hit the Shift and F3 keys together) and voila! You get:

WILLIAM IS EXTREMELY HOT AND SEXY.

Performing the same trick again will revert the sentence as it was earlier, that is, in small caps. Happy trying! ;)
